TRAVEL FUNDRAISER

We were so blessed by the outpouring of support for our first fundraiser. Through the generosity of our friends and family, we received over $2,000 towards our adoption. Thank you all so much!! As you might know, we have received our referral for our little girl. Her name will be Tiana Jo Mei Harlow. You can see an updated picture at http://www.myredthread.net/. We will be traveling to bring Tia home on October 21.

We do still have a considerable amount outstanding. Our goal is to raise the funds necessary for my flight to China. So, we are hosting an online auction. Instead of going through all the formal steps to publish this on ebay, we are just going to do the auction through this blog. The items posted were either donated to our original fundraiser and from our friends and family or are from our children's clothing company - My Red Thread.

Here are the details -The auction will start on Sunday, October 11 and end at 11:59 pm on Friday, October 16. Bids can be placed by commenting to the individual item. All monogrammed items will be completed before I leave for China. Your final bid price will include shipping via First Class mail.

If you would prefer to just contribute to our adoption efforts instead of bidding, you can donate via the Chip In site on the right of this site.
